He left me for a coach a year later

Three months ago, they split up.

She said it was only after she realized that she had destroyed something that had been built for many years.

We stayed silent for a few minutes. I was trying to understand how I felt. In me, there was no fury or desire to bring her back.

It was just calm.

I understood one simple thing. Our wedding did not collapse the day she packed her bags. It all started much earlier. I stopped seeing her, and she stopped talking about how she felt. We lived next to each other, but gradually became strangers.

When she left, I felt like she was the only one guilty. Now I understand that the responsibility was shared.

I understood one simple thing: relationships are not only maintained by the years spent together. They must be maintained every day. We must speak, be interested in each other, speak warm words, even when everything already seems obvious.
