Hayden Panettiere Opened Up About Her Brother Jansen Years After His Sudden Loss — and the Guilt She Carried
TMZ reported that law enforcement confirmed an open investigation and that Hayden had reportedly complained of back pain during the past year. The outlet also reported that she traveled south from Los Angeles with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, on Saturday.
That detail has inevitably drawn attention because of the turbulent history between Hayden and Brian. In 2021, Brian was sentenced to 45 days in county jail, four years of formal probation and other penalties after pleading no contest to two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend, according to ET.
Following Brian’s arrest, Hayden publicly addressed what she said she had experienced during their relationship, making clear that she wanted to use her story to help others facing abuse.
