According to Dr. Lee, the yeast fungi living on our skin thrive in warm, humid environments. This makes summer a real playground for them! Some of these yeasts can multiply and manifest as small spots on the skin. Although they are asymptomatic and harmless, they can prevent the skin from tanning in certain areas.<\/p>\n
